easy etudes for interesting children

I moved my mother’s piano (aka my childhood piano) to Houston. And for the first time in a long time I had a real piano in my house again. For awhile it was in my bedroom, and I would sit down at it a lot. I started writing on it. Small pieces. I thought about them a lot. And got kind of obsessed. I worked and reworked them. To try and make them each do something simple and interesting.

Easy Etudes for Interesting Children is ten short pieces. They may or may not be for children. Printed in a very limited first edition of 25 only, but available for download here. Extra thanks to Erin Rodgers for test running them. Appreciation to Traci Lavois Thiebaud for printing advice. Gratitude to Andrew Lienhard for advice on how to write one small thing in notation.
